Black Mirror
Black Mirror season 7 is a mixed bag with some standout grim tech tales but mostly forgettable. Not the show’s best, but not its worst. 5/10
Ted Lasso
Ted Lasso: Season 1 shines with humour and character depth. Everything after is catastrophe of rushed development and forced drama. 2/10.
The Bear
The Bear slices through the noise with raw realism, rich character work, and reverence for the culinary craft. It feeds my soul. 10/10
Schitt’s Creek
Schitt’s Creek fumbles early with jarring characters and tonal awkwardness, but its grounded heart and humour earn it a comforting spot. 8/10
Shogun
Shōgun balances sharp political intrigue and strong characters with rigid cultural fatalism and an oddly anticlimactic ending. Still oddly compelling. 7/10
